We treat the enclosure as part of the same build as the PCB and firmware, not a separate job handed off after the electronics are done. The same team that designed your board designs the housing around it.

Interactive Retail Display โ Moulded Cavity, Spring-Backed Cradle, 50-Unit Batch
The enclosure held a video game controller in a moulded cavity on a spring-backed cradle, seating it at a consistent angle and position on the load sensor every time it was set back down. Printed in-house in PLA, and the shape was tuned specifically so it would print the same way across the full 50-unit run โ not just once on a bench.

Equine Performance Wearable โ Enclosure & Strap for a Moving Animal
A 3D-printed enclosure paired with a webbing strap, iterated across several rounds specifically for secure mounting on a horse in motion โ a device that reads motion beautifully but slips out of position isn't a finished product.

Cold Storage Sensor โ Matter-Protocol Enclosure
A 3D-printed housing for a Matter-enabled sensor board โ a single monitoring device rather than a batch run, so the design problem was fit and access to the sensor, not repeatable production.

Once the shape is right, it gets tuned to print the same way run after run โ for production volumes, not just one good unit.
